Coop Produced, Hand Harvested
Sea Salt from Mexico

Pasted Graphic
What makes Sal Espuma De Mar unique (besides it’s delicious flavor) is its high moisture content (the locals will tell you that every square grain of salt has a droplet of water in it). The moisture content causes the salt to melt quickly and evenly upon contact with food. The resulting effect is that the flavors in food are fully enhanced without salty spots. Sal Espuma De Mar has a mildly sweet salty flavor and makes a perfect hand finishing salt. Try it and decide for yourself.

Our classic products

Tecali the Translucent Stone

Candle Holder Unlit
Tecali is a semi precious translucent stone made from calcium carbonate, one the most common stones in the world. It is formed over thousands of years with pressure on organic matter. In the building world, its closest relative would be travertine, which is a reddish brown version of marble. The difference between travertine and tecali is that in the formation of travertine, the rain water pushes the organic matter down creating the stone. With Tecali, underground volcanic springs push the water up making it translucent. This process only happens in a couple of places in the world, all being in volcanic regions on the same latitude. Tecali comes from the volcanic regions in Mexico.
